Niles + Chaz is a new hair care line for children with wavy, curly, and coily hair. The line's creators, actor, Paramount+ and Evil star Mike Colter, and his wife Iva Colter, a former Netflix VP, is a massive and unique family project with their two daughters also prominently involved. Ultimately, Niles + Chaz Haircare hopes to empower kids of mixed heritage, curls, and coils of all kinds, and kids with textured hair to embrace their mixed and natural textures and curl patterns.

The launch party highlighted the brand's elevated yet carefree, fun, and fresh approach to haircare. Held at the Shole Salon, a surprisingly cozy spot in Beverly Hills, it seemed like the guest list was more with family and friends than industry acquaintances. All were there to support and celebrate the new line. There were also small bites, mocktails for the kiddos, and cocktails for the adults. There was also pizza and even some champagne as well. Plus, There were plenty of photo opportunities and a live demonstration of some of the Niles + Chaz products to see how the products work on a kid's hair. Some of the journalists invited out got to speak with the brand founders, Mike and Iva Colter. Although my time to talk with them was brief. I did manage to squeeze in a few meaningful and pertinent questions. You can listen to that conversation below (just hit the button!) and check out some of the images I took at the event. Niles + Chaz is a haircare line for children specifically. Its products are Nut Free, BPA Free, and free of harmful chemicals like Sulfates, Silicons, and Parabens, instead using fruits, plants, veggies, and other organic ingredients to create hair magic.
