FAULKNER - “HOT STREAK” - A SONG REVIEW

Hey, guys it's Brittney again. I'm back to talk to you in a quick post. It's about a new band I've been enjoying (in particular the latest single "Hot Streak") which I think you guys will like. They're called "Faulkner". It's a four piece bi-coastal Alternative Rock outfit made up Lucas Asher (vocals/guitar/Songwriter), Eric Scullin (vocals/multi-instrumentalist/Producer), Dimitri Farougias (bass), and Christian Hogan (drums). The single which is what I want to talk about was released back in October of this year and from their upcoming debut record. "Hot Streak" is a catchy Electro-Pop ditty with a bit of New York punk strut and added RnB vibes for great measure. The lead singer's voice has a unique tonality to it which adds something to the song. A little bit of Rock and Roll and a little bit of soul that bring a certain grittiness to a track that has a luster due to it's Pop beat. The lyrics as the title "Hot Streak" hints at are about the joy, happiness and sometimes invincibility feeling one might attain when everything is going their way or going perfectly. Stuff that's very relatable. But the best thing for you do to get your own vibe of the song and the band is to click play and listen below!Faulkner: www.FaulknerOfficial.comSpotify: "Hot Streak" - http://spoti.fi/2zdbPMeiTunes: "Hot Streak" - http://apple.co/2zdXU8DAmazon: "Hot Streak" - http://amzn.to/2jUK7LVGoogle Music Play: "Hot Streak" - http://bit.ly/2C70njC

BAND BIO: FAULKNER have hit the ground running on their journey to success. Landing their song “NY Anthem” in the hands of RZA, the Wu-Tang Clan mastermind, Faulkner captured the hip hop God’s interest, leading to their first major collaboration. As a result, the track can be heard at the New York Yankees home games, the US Open, NFL and more. Their upcoming debut album was recorded at Rick Rubin's Shrangi La studio & East West with co-producers RZA (Wu-Tang), Mark Needham (The Killers), and JP Bowersock (The Strokes). Their first music video, "Revolutionary", has over 2.3million views.

Much love,Brittney :) xxTwitter: @TRB_creativeInstagram: @trb_creative
